On Tuesday, I had the great pleasure of attending the Central Florida Bloggers Conference Tweet Up. The tweet up is a meet and mingle for bloggers in the Central Florida area. Bloggers can meet up with old friends and newbies get to learn from the pros. More importantly, it's an excuse for me to meet the fabulous fashionistas behind some of my favorite blogs.
Confession: It was the first time I attended any blog related event and I was nervous about my baby blog playing with the grown-ups. But everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming! I got some expert tips on how to push my baby blog out of its nest and send it on its way and the lively get together also helped me strengthen my relationship with Orlando. My love for the city isn't exactly on par with my love of fashion and I had hoped that marrying the two would make Orlando seem as exciting and chic as my dream outfits. And finally, it feels like and I are starting to find a home.
Now if only I could get this misbehavin blog to stop actin' up...

A special shout out to some awesome tweeps that made my first Tweet Up so memorable. Check out their awesome blogs!
My outfit: If Athena, the Goddess of War, had a nine to fiver, I'm sure she'd be rocking this outfit. A long, flowy white top to billow in the wind, rustic gold and gem necklaces, and an ethereal leaf carved cuff. Finished off with a professional boyfriend jacket (even goddesses have dress codes) and screaming hot pink heels (she is a Goddess after all, dress code or not) and off to work. A stretch? You know that I can barely get a handle on my imagination.
(I started the day with plans to wear my hair down all day...yeah, that didn't last as you can tell from the meet up photos. I also forgot to put on my cuff for the photos. It was REALLY early in the morning.)
What I’m Rockin’:
White blouse: Heavenly Couture (http://www.getheavenly.com/), San Clemente, CA (Everything in this store is $15 or less!!)
Accessories: Charlotte Russe
Jeans: Forever 21
Boyfriend Jacket: WetSeal
Heels: Charlotte Russe
How fun! I've been wanting to go to something like that! And I love your top. I'm a new follower. Stop by my blog sometime and say hi (and follow back if you're interested).
