My Addiction Remixed: A Sheer Maxi Skirt

Ever get an obsession to a recent purchase? Like an amazing red lipstick that you can’t stop wearing or a pair of flats that are about to disintegrate because you can’t take them off. Well, here it is: My name is Iris and I’m addicted to my maxi skirt. There, I said it.

A sheer maxi skirt that fits right has been on my wish list since last December so it’s no surprise that when I finally got it I would wear it non-stop. It’s the easiest thing to put together. Here’s the trick: Pick any top from your closet that you can tuck in, tie up, or is already cropped. Done. How could you not love something so simple?

In dedication to my current addiction, I decided to do a remix. While these are just three looks, be prepared to see more. I’m not ready to deal with the withdrawal symptoms just yet. Can you blame me for the intense dependency on a skirt that bestows the optical illusion of length? That’s a pretty big deal for a short…uh, petite girl. So don’t mind me while I continue to indulge in my addiction with complete disregard to the potential fashion faux-pas.

Time to fess up, what’s your current addiction?

    1. Burgundy ankle booties sound amazing! The pier photos is actually where I live, right next to my house. It's in Winter Garden, FL. I love taking photos there because you can never go wrong!

  3. Love how you remixed the skirt! Lately, I'm obsessed with button down shirts. I can't wait for cooler weather so I can start layering them with sweaters!

  5. I'm totally guilty and proud of repeating an item - especially when I'm obsessed with it. Right now - for me it's my denim chambray that I searched the world and back for! But I love your maxi. And the pictures where the lights are twinkling are gorg! Found you via the RGG link up!

    1. Thanks! I know how you feel about the chambray. I left mine by mistake at a hotel drawer! I was crushed. It took me forever to find one just like it that I loved.

    1. The skirt really does go with everything. I can totally picture an obsession with a denim top, too! Might have to put that on my list :-)
